Inspection Process
Schedule inspections through the Cityworks portal — login, click Actions tab on permit, select Schedule Inspection. Three inspectors handle building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and sewer inspections.

City Engineer Marcus Maurer. Cityworks online portal for permits, inspections, contractor licensing, and plan review. General contractors must register ($10,000 bond + Certificate of Insurance). Registration fee $350 original, $175 annual renewal. Property owners may do work on their own residence without contractor license. Permits purchased through Cityworks portal — credit/debit accepted.
