Inspection Process
Call 765-662-9931 to schedule inspections between 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday-Friday. 24-hour advance notice required. Contractor and/or property owner must be present during inspection. Missed inspection fee is $60. Required stages include footers, foundations, rough-in work (framing, plumbing, heating, electrical), roofing, electrical upgrades, window/door changes, and final inspection.

Additions and new construction require an Improvement Location Permit from the Planning Department before obtaining a building permit. Commercial signs require a separate Sign Permit.
